I am always on the lookout for inexpensive 35″ or 36″ inseam jeans. This is my latest find from The Buckle. Yes I realize it is not The Buckle. It is just Buckle. But it sounds better when you add “The”, don’t you think?

I like just a little something to embellish the back pockets, but I don’t want a screaming butt. You know the type, the bling, the half dozen colors, all of that. Some girls can pull that off. I am not one of them. I am plain Jane, flip flops, jeans and a t-shirt type of girl. So these were perfect for me. And they fit perfectly too. Wahoo! Don’t you love it when that happens? These are factory seconds, although I can’t see what is wrong with them. I have bought factory seconds online here several times, and can never tell what is wrong.
Only problem is, mean old Santa is making me wait until Christmas to wear them.

I’m always on the prowl for long jeans, & my friend Niki just emailed me to tell me about some. She said,
“I had been searching for mid-rise straight jeans to wear with boots - found them at Delias. They are the Mallory jean - they have six different colors - right now they are buy one get one half off. They are $44.50 to begin with, so not that expensive. you get free shipping if you send for them through the store. I bought two of them and LOVE them. Oh, and up to 36″ inseam. Anyway, I think it’s a great FIND.”
Thanks Niki! I haven’t ever tried Delia’s, but when I went to their site, it says they have jeans in 34″, 36″ AND some in 37″! They are in junior sizes, but go up to 19. Anyone else ever tried Delia’s?

I just received word that the Buckle is having some major clearance sales right now! They have super cute jeans, and inseams go up to 37″.
This pair is $44.97, originally $62.00. But prices for 35″ inseams start as low as $29.49!
Don’t forget to use the great search features on the left, to sort by inseam, fit, rise, etc.

I’m bouncing back from another shamefully long break. I’m prego again and just came off a few yucky months. I’m finally getting back into the swing of things.
My friend Jessica sent me a message recently, to let me know that Target has Mossimo jeans with 34″ inseams. But she ordered a pair, and they measured at 35″! They are only available online, of course. But super cheap, and some are cute!

I’ve been frustrated with Old Navy for a while now. I was so excited to find they carried 36″ long jeans, but they never seem to be in stock unless you are a size zero which I definitely am not.
While a couple styles I’ve been waiting on still aren’t stocked, I just noticed today that they have these jeans stocked in almost every tall size. Plus they are $29.50! I’m going to try them out. Let me know what you think if you do too.

A while ago I heard that Vanity carries 35 and 37 inch inseams. I’ve been curious about their jeans for a while now, and just heard from a reader who has tried them.
She said, “Their sizing is all over the place, so unless you know exactly what style and size fit you, it really isn’t a good idea to order online, but they carry 35″ and 37″ inseams in store most of the time. They cater to a young crowd, so most of the jeans are the more hip-hugger, muffin-top-inducing type.”
Thanks for the tip Barbie! I’ve been curious about their jeans and wondered if they are too teeny-bopper for this mom body. They have several different fits. I may wait to try them out until I come across a Vanity store, so I don’t waste a lot on shipping while trying to find the right fit for me. I’ll keep you all posted when I try it out.

I’ve had these Wide Leg Diva Jeans from Old Navy on my radar for a while now. I wrote about them a few months back.
The good news is, I just heard from a reader that they are the most comfortable jeans she has had. (Thanks Heather!)
The bad news is, they never seem to be available in my size. But because I am hearing good things about them, I’m going to keep checking back.
One thing to keep in mind with Old Navy when ordering, don’t get mixed up with their long vs. tall sizes. Long means 34″, and tall means 36″. There are three tabs above the selection area: regular, tall, & petite. The 34″ long jeans fall under the regular tab (along with short and regular lengths), but the 36″ inseams are under the tall tab.
They have some other jeans offered in 36″, but it looks like they have a hard time keeping their sizes stocked. Maybe if enough of us tall gals email them they will get on the ball? Here is their email address if anyone wants to give it a shot: custserv@oldnavy.com

Well, the verdict is in. I received the 36″ long American Eagle Boyfriends Jeans that I got at a smoking $24.95 (now back up to $29.50).
Here is the summary:
Pros: The length of course, and the price for the length. Talk about rare! They come in long (34.5-35″) and X-Long (36″). I also like color of this “dark vintage” rinse. They are a little fitted through the thighs, but are not toooo tight for my athletic thighs like a lot of modern styles are. My thighs often feel like stuffed sausages when trying on the new cutesie jeans. But these are doable.
Cons: I like a bit of a low rise, but not the super low rise. No thanks on the drafty crack. While these aren’t dangerously low by today’s standards, they are just a bit low for my comfort zone. Also, they seem true to size through the hips & thighs, but gape at the waist. This is something I always struggle with. Maybe I’m built weird? If anyone shares this problem and knows of any great jeans that don’t gape, please tell me!
Verdict: While they are not perfect, I think these are well worth the $25-$30 price tag and are worth throwing on a belt to rectify a little gaping! I just may try American Eagle jeans again.

I wrote about American Eagle jeans a while ago. I was blown away because they were 36″ long and very inexpensive. Well, they’re even cheaper now. I just ordered this pair for $24.95. This is my first pair of AE jeans, so I’m not quite sure what to expect. I’ll report back when I get them.

Tall girls often have a larger foot size that local shops don't cater to. Here's a list of places you can find wider, larger shoe sizes.
