Great long work pants
Banana Republic now carries pants with inseams up to 36″. They are having a Presidents Day weekend sale too. These pants, normally $79 are $55 - $69.99 (depending on color).

Ruffle Top
Ever tried Shade Clothing? They are not specifically tall-sized, but their shirts often have extra length in the torso. For fitted tops with a defined waistline they may still fall short, but I have had good luck with their regular knit tops and layering basics.

Sugar Plum Skirt
I have had my eye out for skirts lately, because I need a couple new ones. I like this one because you can winterize it with boots & a sweater, or wear it with sandals when it is warm.
DownEast Basics has several skirts on sale right now. They are not tall-sized but are just past the knees on the models, so I assume they would hit me just a couple inches above.

Flare Leg Jeans
I was browsing around for end of season sales, and came across these Flare Leg Jeans at J.Jill. They are available in several colors/washes, and three inseams, 31″, 33″, and 36″. Wahoo for the 36″!

Clearance on super long jeans
I have said before how much I love jeans from the Buckle. Ok, I’ve said it a couple times. But it is true.
Check out the jeans on clearance there. This pair is just $39.97, normally $76. Inseams on this style come in 35″, but the Buckle also offers jeans with 37″ inseams for those beautiful long legs.

No more slouching in the kitchen
Anybody else have a dream home list? I have a list in the back of my journal with all the things I would put in my dream house if I ever build. One of the things on my list is higher countertops in my kitchen. A reader emailed me about her very tall friend who had a custom chopping block made. (Make sure you scroll down to see the pictures.) Now I’m not as tall as her, but what a great idea!

Tall Shopping on EBay
While it is encouraging that more retailers are offering tall sizes these days, it can still be frustrating because they are often more expensive. One possible solution is eBay. I have come across some good tall finds on eBay, but it can feel like finding a needle in a haystack. If you have time to do some searching, it may be a good option.
Susan’s Tall Fashions is an eBay store specializing in tall sizes. They sell discontinued items from some of the tall retailers. I have found a couple great deals there, check them out!
