Another swimming possibility?
I’ve been hearing about Modbe for a while now, but haven’t tried them out yet. Their new line of 2008 swimwear is out. Again they are not tall-sized, but their tankinis are longer in the torso than most. And they have a few suits that are really cute.
I have heard in the past that Modbe is a pain to order from, that you had to find a representative in your area. It appears that you can now order online though. If anyone has ordered from them online & has any feedback, please let me know!

The Gap is having a sale on a bunch of their tall sized tops. This one struck me, because it doesn’t have a defined waist, which would hit us tall gals at the ribs. Plus it looks cute, comfy, and feminine. Available in several colors and in tall sizes.

Long Shorts
Great Lengths is a company that specializes in long shorts. They aren’t necessarily “tall-sized”, as they are made for modesty. But they also work for us tall women whose ’short-shorts’ days are behind us. These Blue Epic Shorts have a mid-rise, and are available in several plaid colors.

The ultimate in comfort
My mother will be mortified that I’m admitting this, but ironing in my house is a semi-annual event. I would rather scrub toilets than iron. That’s why I love this type of skirt. Comfortable, wrinkly on purpose, and great for pulling out of a suitcase when you travel. This “Printed Stretch Crinkle Skirt” from Luxuriously Tall is 34.5″ long.

I recently came across a site called Shop it to Me. It’s a service that notifies you when your favorite clothes go on sale. When setting up an account, you can choose the brands and sizes of clothes you are interested in (including tall sizes). When the items/sizes you selected go on sale, they notify you. I usually hate signing up for new things, because you never know whether they’ll fill your email box with junk every day. But with Shop it to Me, you choose the days & frequency of the email, which I like. I’m new to this, but so far so good. If anyone has used them & has input, give me a holler!
